

Getting to
An open building
The Champs Libres has three different entrances :
- The main entrance, on the Cours des Alliés, faces onto the Esplanade Charles de Gaulle
- The Boulevard Magenta entrance. This will be used in the morning for visiting groups only. It is at this entrance that the Champs Libres' Cultural Shop' is located.
- The west entrance, which faces towards the Dalle du Colombier, gives direct access both to the lecture theatre and to the Champs Libres.
Taking the bus or metro
The Champs Libres is easily accessible by all the various forms of public transport :
- Two metro stations : Charles de Gaulle' and Gares' (Stations) are less than 5 minutes away from the Champs Libres.
- Several bus routes run close to the Champs Libres.
- The coach and railway stations are 200 metres from the Champs Libres.
Car parks
While awaiting the opening, planned for September 2007, of the Esplanade Charles de Gaulle underground car park, you will find several different car parks and on-street parking facilities in the vicinity of the Champs Libres :
- Colombier car park
- Gare-Sud car park ( railway station)
- Gare-Nord (railway station)
On-street parking must be paid for between 9 a.m. and 12 noon, and between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. It is free on Sundays and public holidays.
Accessibility
