

The Champs Libres lecture theatre : conferences, talks, concerts, and more
Throughout the year the Champs Libres organises events which provide access to culture and training and enhance our understanding of today's world, as well as our knowledge of man and civilisation. The lecture theatre's cultural programming will enable ideas, artists, researchers, and citizens to come together.
Talks
The talks bear witness to the diversity and wealth of all the different activities that take place in the Champs Libres and, as a consequence, the subjects dealt with : Tuesdays at the Science Centre', Wednesdays at the Library' for young and old alike, Museum talks and conferences, and Champs-Contrechamps', in connection with an exhibition, a discussion on a subject of topical interest, or an area of artistic creation.
Discussions
Every Saturday in turn, Champs Libres à.., (Champs-Libres at ...), Champs-Contrechamps, and Les Rendez-vous Métropolitains...(Meetings in the Métropole) open the way to original or controversial discussions with a personality from the world of the arts, science, politics, or with someone involved in the field of social awareness and citizenship.
Cafés des Champs-Libres
Providing a different ambience for discussion and dialogue, the Cafés des Champs Libres initiate reflection and discussion on anything from philosophy, science, and history, to life in high-rise council estates, and literature.
Concerts
A weekly date in search of all kinds of music and musicians in the convivial context of a midday get-together.

"Images d'Ici et d'Ailleurs" (Documentaries on Sundays) screenings aimed at young people within the framework of the "Mercredis de la Bibliothèque" combine pleasure on the part of the spectator with education on the subject of the world of the image.
